Versatile and spacious basket, perfect to carry on the forearm or in the hand, it has piping around the bag and an interior leather pocket to store a mobile phone, purse or keys, it has no lining. Closes with a magnet.
The embroidered Shigra is an ancestral bag that is on the verge of disappearing due to the technique and the difficulty of weaving a bag. Nowadays there are only a limited number of women who have this knowledge.
Cabuya is a biodegradable fibre that decomposes naturally and can be used as a fertiliser, it does not pollute the environment and the processes used to obtain the fibre are based on sustainable and totally artisanal techniques.

How long did it take the artisan woman to weave the bag?
6 to 7 weeks
Clean with a damp cloth or dry brush if necessary as long as you do not tear the embroidery.
Do not expose to moisture, NOT WASHABLE. May fade colour.
If your bag has white areas use a small brush with clear liquid soap and carefully clean the area for a couple of minutes. Be sure not to get Clorox or water on the coloured areas.
Do not expose the product for long hours in the sun, its colour can be altered like all natural fibres.
A recycled cotton dust cover is included to help preserve your product.
